We currently have the following position open:
 

BOOKKEEPER / LEASING  ASSISTANT

Are you a bright, intelligent bookkeeper looking to expand you skill set? Do you have a knack for numbers but also enjoy interacting with people? Would you like to work in an environment where your good values and strong work ethic are appreciated?

The ideal candidate will be a strong self-starter and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. He/She will possess excellent customer service skills. Must be able to manage multiple priorities, while maintaining a positive attitude and a professional demeanor. Excellent computer skills (Proficient in Microsoft Office) Must have a professional appearance. Bilingual a Big plus.

  • Has minimum 3 yrs of bookkeeping experience

Responsibilities - Include but are not limited to the following

  • Handle all administrative office duties
  • Assist sales with preparing leases
  • Generate/complete correct and timely preparation of prospect tenant application and leasing documentation
  • Conduct credit screening and reference checks on prospects tenants
  • Process tenants deposits
  • Insure that all monies are collected when rent is due
  • Tour and show to prospect tenants our properties
  • Light banking work (making deposits and entering in QuickBooks)
  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Payroll Taxes and Reports
  • Reply   to leasing inquiries via phone and email.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with property managers
  • Managing inventory of units
  • Ordering furniture, utilities, phone, cable, high speed internet, house wares, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

2 years or more Bookkeeping with QuickBooks. Leasing/property management experience a big plus.

Associate Degree.  Bilingual a plus.
